Most of the civil records are availables online. Some departments are still working on classify and digitize their documents. At the moment you access every website, you will be able to check whether they are or not online. If they are not available, contacting them through an e-mail or by post mail, and asking for what is needed, most of the times is promptly and efficiently responded.
Paid services of records online: Calvados (14), Meurthe et Moselle (54), Savoie (73) and Haute-Savoie (74). They charge over an inscription which could cost from 1 or 2 euros per day up to 200 euros per year.

MOROCCO AND TUNISIA : Civil records of Morocco, from 1912 to 1956, and Tunisia, from 1881 to 1956, are conserved by the Ministère des Affaires Étrangères de France (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France).
OTHER OLD FRENCH COLONIES :
Archives Nationales d'Outre Mer (A.N.O.M.), located in Aix-en-Provence, France, conserves the parish records (before 1792), and civil records and decennal tables of those all territories which have been part of the French Colonial Empire since the 17th century. A.N.O.M. has records of the following colonies:
